Fraud Analyst

Calltic has developed a radically new technology to detect fraud in telecom networks. We offer the solution as a service managed out of our headquarters in Belgium.  Once a sale is closed and the infrastructure is set up, it becomes our responsibility to detect and stop fraud. This will be your job.  Your customers are telecom operators worldwide.  We outperform competition and intend to conquer the telecom world based on the reputation that you and your colleagues earn in detecting fraud.  You have the right combination of an analytical mind and customer communication skills.

Job description

You will manage an international portfolio of customers (telecom operators) and your key responsibilities will be:

Data Analysis
  • Monitor, analyze and improve fraud detection results
  • Analyze various data flows in order to uncover (new) fraudulent behavior
  • Extensive use of SQL, Excel and in house tools
Development
  • Work closely with the development team in order to improve our fraud detection system and root out fraud on the customer’s network
  • Spot possible new detection methods or system improvements, and tweak the system accordingly
  • Collect, verify and provide the dev team with the necessary data in order to train and improve our ML models
Customer support
  • Collaborate closely with the customer in order to achieve our common goal, eliminating fraud
  • Proactively communicate with the customer on trends, special findings, detection results, etc.
  • Provide customers with the necessary support when needed

Profile

  • Analytical skills and a basic knowledge of/experience with SQL
  • You have a curious mind and are eager to investigate and dig deeper
  • You are secure and disciplined in follow up and well organized
  • You have good communication skills and interact easily with foreign people
  • You are fluent in French & English, Spanish would be an asset
  • Experience at a Telecom provider is a plus
